Its PATENTED PLANETARY SYSTEM is not driven by belts but by Hardened Gears this sets the EXPANDER in a league of its own, with no competition. Thanks to this exclusive technology, it’s the only machine of its kind with an adjustable grind height feature. With the weight centered over the grinding head, there is no need depend on brute force or a unmanageably heavy machine to get your best results. The cutting heads do not just ride over bumps on the floor, but because of it firm gear driven cutting heads, it grinds through and levels the floor. But if it needs to flex over a rigid swell the main flex joint made by BMW is able to bend in more directions then it's competition. No job is too big a challenge to the EXPANDER! Bush-hammering (scarification), grinding, Grinding and polishing are achieved with a productivity rate that is sometimes 3 or 4 times other machines of the same size. Using the PCD cutter teeth you can even remove VCT tile from a floor! This would ruin any of the competitors machines. Expander is a revolutionary new concept in grinding machines, it pivots from a center point right over the center of gravity.
The grinding head can be raised and lower electrically so that you can mill off the high points and then lowered as you need to, you are also able to remove the front wheel to put the full weight of the machine onto the grinding pads.
With a strong 15 hp motor and high torque gearbox no job is to big, and the down pressure that is put onto the grinding pads is greater then most grinders as the full weight of the machine is centered over the grinding head and the machine can be tipped forward for agressive cutting when the wheel has been removed.The front wheel also permits transport of the grinder off and onto the worksite.
