Levighetor Max for Professionals

Ideal for grinding and polishing marble, terrazzo, granite or concrete surfaces, even suitable for large industrial surface preparation, bush hammering, grinding, old glue and resin removal, etc.

Close Quarters Handle
The Levighetor Max with the "close quarters handle" has an ergonomic design with a well balanced handle that is adjustable while you are working, to move the handle out of the way or to spin the machine within its own footprint. The handle also has a "dead man switch" built in to use on those areas that can quickly get out of hand, just let go and it stops the machine. The dead man switch can be disengaged when not needed.

SC Handle
The Levighetor Max SC has a high strength easy to hold onto handle that can be used with greater ease on heavy grinding jobs. handle that is adjustable while you are working, to move the handle out of the way or to spin the machine within its own footprint. The handle also has a "dead man switch" built in to use on those areas that can quickly get out of hand, just let go and it stops the machine. The dead man switch can be disengaged when not needed.

Postive Lock Mounting
The Levighetor SC and Max use the same grinding head with 10.5" plates. A positive lock butterfly mechanizim is used to make sure that the plates do not drop off when lifted up to change tooling. Dropping plates is a common problem on many machines and can be dangerous if they come off during use, not to mention that the plates will damage the floor if dropped while tipping the machine back. The positive lock system is quick and easy to use and allows tooling changes in seconds. There is no faster way to change tooling then to change the whole grinding plate at one time and there are no small pieces to get lost.

Panetary High Torque Gearbox;
Designed to supply lots of torque to the Grinding Head
The Levighetor Max Series has a high torque oil filled gearbox designed into the body of the grinder to provide very high torque at low speed to the grinding head. This allows the user to remove sticky glue and mastic without stalling the machine and there are no belts to slip.

Variable Speed Control;
Continuosly variable speed from 300 to 1200 RPM
The Levighetor Max Series uses a Variable speed controller that allow continuosly variable speed control from 300 to 1200 RPM with maximum torgue to the ground. Even though the motor on the Levighetor Max series is a three phase motor for long life, the power input can be single or three phase. No switches to switch or programming changes needed, just change the power plug.
